I can’t imagine that civil engineers consider the needs of the “road enthusiast” when designing roads today. Let’s all hope that Mulholland (currently closed indefinitely due to erosion) is restored soon.

Ahh, the old days. I messed around up there quite a bit from ’74 until about ’79 or ’80. I ran a ’65 Mustang, lowered, Konis, Shelby springs and bars, Radial T/A’s. It was fun, low key, tried to fly low and not attract attention.
