Right around 23:10 in the video, some guy almost loses his life trying to cross the pit lane at the speed of “mosey.”
Hate to admit my age, but I watched John Morton win that race at Riverside. It’s wonderful to see that footage. I spent a lot of time at Riverside but that’s one of the best races I saw there. I became a John Morton and Datsun fan. I owned a Datsun 2000 roaster at the time and that race really reinforced the brand for me! Glad to see that John is still driving a 510 in vintage events. Hope to see him this year at VSCDA / Blackhawk on Father’s Day weekend.
